Sidewalk Chalk, Running, Flowers, and Golf!

We are LOVING the weather being nicer and the majority of our time that we are home is spent outside playing. This weekend, it started out a little chilly, but ended up warming up quite a bit...it is almost May, after all! It was a very low key weekend, which we love!!!

Saturday, we started out the day with Bailey and I going to Wal-Mart to stock up on some necessities. When we came home, we discovered that Daddy and Griffin had washed the cars. Jacob said that Griffin was playing and noticed that he was washing the car. He came over and started helping, then looked at his truck, and began washing it! Daddy was impressed!!! I was proud of Jacob for thinking to take pictures of Griffin's first car washing experience.

We spent the rest of the day playing outside, as well as having fun with sidewalk chalk! They weren't really sure what to think of it at first, but loved it once they realized what it was all about!

Mommy had to show them how they work!

She's impressed! :)

Today after church, I walked into the living room to find the tunnel "standing" in our living room...no sound whatsoever....

 Then a giggle....
Griffin and Daddy were hiding! (Pardon the little girl in the bow and bloomers, blowing the horn!)

After nap, before we headed to our church small group, Griffin decided to take Bailey on a walk...

Griff's "CHEESE" face!

He's realizing that his truck is in the garage and that might be more fun....

Explaining to her why he has to leave her for his truck....

Stranded...

Little Ms. Independent can take care of herself!

ANNNNNNDDDDD...He's off! He's finally learned to put his feet down instead of FLYING down our driveway!

Okay, this next picture cracks me up and makes me laugh every time I look at it...Jacob explained to Bailey and Griffin that when they wear their "Nike clothes", they have to run fast...so they did...

My little marathon runner giving it all she's got! Check out those chubby, little legs...I'm dying!

Mr. Big Stuff going sprinting down the road!

But don't worry, we stop to admire the flowers...

I guess Bailey decided that she ran as much as she could, and she's going to hitch a ride back...attitude!

Daddy and Griffin playing a little golf!

He loves it!

And my favorite part of this stage..."Mommy, I hold you!"

Have a great week!

We Are Back!!

So...after a long hiatus from blogging...I've decided to get back into it! I realized that it's been since January when I last posted, and know that I'll regret not documenting everything, and this is the easiest way for me to do it! I apologize now for the long post...lots to catch up on!

Our life is so much fun these days....crazy, but fun! Bailey and Griffin are now 21 months old and it amazes me to think about the fact that they will be two in 2 and a half months! Where did my babies go???

Griffin is the sweetest little boy these days. He is much bigger than his sister, and has turned into quite the little monkey! I've walked in to find him on top of our kitchen table, he climbs into the high chair at church on his own, and he has attempted (not successfully yet) to climb out of his crib. He is still wearing his eye patch each day...some days he will keep it on the whole two hours without a fight...other days, it is much more difficult between him wanting it off, and Bailey trying to take it off for him! He has gotten so tall and heavy, and it makes my Mommy heart a little sad that it's much harder for me to hold him while he's asleep! There have been quite a few nights where I have gone to get him out of bed just so I can look at him and hold him!

Love that cheesy smile!

Mickey encourages Griffin wear his patch by sporting one as well!

Griffin loves bubble baths at Bebe and Poppy's!

Bailey is ALL GIRL! She has developed quite the little attitude (I think we might be entering the early Terrible Two's!), but she can also be so sweet too! A funny story...the other day, she threw a fit, which led to her throwing her cup at Griffin, which hit him in the eye. As soon as she got out of "time out", she went straight to him and said "I'm Thorry" and proceeded to rub his head. This has happened a few times lately where she sweetly apologizes and it takes everything out of Jacob and I not to just die laughing! She is much more petite than Griffin and feels so light after I've held him! She had the stomach virus last week, which is really the only sickness we have dealt with during the Winter, so we feel very blessed about that!

I think she has everything she might need!

Sweet smile!

The two of them really have turned into the sweetest little playmates. Sometimes I want to play with them, but other times I will just sit back and watch them! Griffin is always trying to find Bailey and runs around the house yelling "Bayee" until he finds her. They are pros at Hide and Seek these days....they would seriously scare me sometimes if I didn't see them go into a room...they don't make a sound or move a muscle! Their favorite thing to do right now is play Ring Around the Rosie...they think it's the funniest thing! They are also loving puzzles and blocks. Their favorite movie right now is Toy Story and we hear requests for "Woody Buzz" nonstop! We are LOVING the warmer weather and pretty much live outside when it's possible! I'm really looking forward to playing outside all summer...they love it and throw a fit when they don't get to! Jacob and I just fall more in love with them every day and are loving watching each new stage take place!

Wonder who dominates their relationship?? Here's your answer!

Bath time fun!

They love holding hands...so sweet!

Easter Sunday!

I love my little rabbits!

I feel so blessed to have my family...I sure will love when they'll smile for a family picture!

I am really going to try to do much better in the blogging department...it just has to be while they're asleep, because they will politely interrupt anytime I try to get on the computer! I'm telling you...life with two at this age is crazy and exhausting, but so much fun!

We'll be back soon!!
